Denali is the whole argument. GMC turned a trim name into a sub-brand — real wood, real aluminum, the full feature stack, and on the latest trucks, Denali Ultimate with massaging seats and an adjustment count that borders on furniture. It's the highest-average-comfort lineup on my lot, in the sense that GMC buyers mostly arrive wanting the nice one.
Two honest notes. The AT4 trims trade on-pavement plushness for trail hardware — an AT4X is a comfortable off-road truck, which is a different thing than a comfortable truck; my Off-Road pages tell that half. And the value question inside the family: SLT with the right packages gets most of the Denali equipment list at a real discount, minus the wood and the badge.
Walk past if the badge premium over the equivalent Chevy buys nothing your seat can feel — sometimes it does, sometimes it's wood trim and a grille. The eight hours you spend in that seat get the deciding vote, not me.
